- The BBC provides a comprehensive weather service with the forecast provided by the Met Office. Search for ‘Fort William’ at www.bbc.co.uk/weather for a forecast for Scotland’s west highlands or visit http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/coast_and_sea/coastal/ for sailing forecasts and choose the ‘Mull of Kintyre’ or ‘Ardnamurchan’ forecasts.
- The Met Office is the UK’s national weather service and provides detailed land and marine forecasts. - Golf Tourism Scotland is a membership body which aims to help raise the profile of Scotland’s golf tourism industry. To find out more visit www.golftourismscotland.com.
- Scottish Golf Trails is an alliance partnership established in 2010 to promote golf tourism in north-east Scotland. Based around two trails, the initiative includes 17 links and parkland courses. Visit www.scottishgolftrails.co.uk for more information.
- The Caledonian Canal stretches for over 60 miles from Corpach near Fort William to Inverness. Running through the Great Glen it connects Loch Linnhe in the south-west with the Moray Firth in the north-east.
